DeeLights Scented Candles - Our Concept

Every single one of our scented candles is hand poured by us from scratch on our premises in West Sussex. Many other online candle retailers buy in their products from wholesalers that have been made cheaply overseas, and while we cannot compete with them on price, we CAN compete every inch of the way on handmade quality and fragrance!!

DeeLights was "born" in 1996 purely as a hobby originally. Dee was fed up with spending a fortune on "supposed" scented candles only to have to light 6 just to get a whiff of fragrance in the room! As a confirmed candle-holic and fan of the addage "if you want it done properly - do it yourself" ... she did!!

The reason we are so good at what we do is the painstaking attention to detail by hand that goes into each and every single product that we make. This applies from the very first time the wax is melted until the finished candles are packaged, boxed for dispatch and taken to the post office. Everything we do has that little personal touch. Our customers love us for it.

We stay on top of industry research and constantly test new products, but our candles are still made with the same secret blend of ingredients that Dee developed back in 1996 to achieve the combination of a very high fragrance load with a very long burning candle.

Other than our wax melter we use absolutely NO machinery to make our candles. Every single candle is made and finished completely by hand. It is important to us to be as green and environmentally friendly as possible, so we use recycled packaging wherever possible.

The fragrance oils used in DeeLights candles are pure uncut 100% quality oils that are manufactured especially for use in candles. We source our supplies and ingredients from the UK wherever possible to cut down on carbon emissions and to stay as green as possible. We are constantly testing and only the very best fragrances that actually SMELL while the candle is burning make it into our fragrance list ... the rest go in the bin! Quality is no compromise and our customers know this!!

Your candles are freshly hand made to order by experienced candlemakers who take pride in their work. You won't find candles like these anywhere else!
